PCR series products are mainly used as carriers for primers, Taq DNA polymerase, dNTPs, template nucleic acids, Mg, buffers, etc. that participate in the amplification reaction in the polymerase chain reaction (PCR). They are widely used in fields such as genetics, biochemistry, immunity, and medicine. They are not only used in basic research such as gene isolation, cloning, and nucleic acid sequence analysis, but can also be used in the diagnosis of diseases or anywhere where DNA and RNA are present.
PCR series products are divided into single tubes, eight consecutive tubes, and plates. So how to choose different types of products?
PCR single tube

· Imported medical grade polypropylene (PP) material, resistant to repeated high and low temperature settings
· Clean production in a 100,000-level dust-free workshop, no human DNA, no DNase/RNase, and no PCR inhibitors
· After sterilization, it can be directly used in PCR detection
· Withstand temperature range -80~121℃
· The pipe body and the pipe cover are connected together. The pipe cover has good sealing performance and the flat cover has good smoothness.
· Maximum volume 250 μl
· Ultra-thin tube wall, extremely fast temperature conduction
· Mainstream PCR machines and real-time PCR machines on the general market
Selection of PCR single tubes: Used when the sample amount is small, and can be used flexibly according to the number of samples.
The tube body and cap are connected and can easily be confused with microcentrifuge tubes, but they cannot be mixed. The walls of PCR tubes are thin, which helps ensure the speed and uniformity of heat conduction during PCR amplification, but they cannot withstand large centrifugal forces. The walls of microcentrifuge tubes are thicker, which meets the centrifugation requirements, but also results in slow and uneven heat transfer.

PCR eight-tube strip

· Imported medical grade polypropylene (PP) material, resistant to repeated high and low temperature settings
· Clean production in a 100,000-level dust-free workshop, no human DNA, no DNase/RNase, and no PCR inhibitors
· After sterilization, it can be directly used in PCR detection
· Withstand temperature range -80~121℃
· Transparent and white two-color, suitable for ordinary PCR and qPCR respectively
· Equipped with connected pipe cover, extended cover, good sealing performance
· Ultra-thin tube wall, extremely fast temperature conduction
· The maximum volume of small tube (0.1mL) is 150ul, and the maximum volume of large tube (0.2mL) is 250ul
Selection of eight-tube PCR tubes: When the sample volume increases, eight-tube tubes can be selected.
Generally, transparent and white colors are available, which are suitable for ordinary PCR and qPCR respectively. Among them, the white eight-connected tube can effectively prevent signal interference, increase signal strength, and improve experimental efficiency.

PCR plate

· Imported medical grade polypropylene (PP) material, resistant to repeated high and low temperature settings
· Clean production in a 100,000-level dust-free workshop, no human DNA, no DNase/RNase, and no PCR inhibitors
· After sterilization, it can be directly used in PCR detection
· Withstand temperature range -80~121℃
· Skirt design improves stability during pipetting and mechanical strength during automatic machine processing
· Detachable half-skirts in different colors help sample classification management
· Uniform pore design improves thermal conductivity and reduces evaporation
·Number and letter coding on the edge of the hole for easy marking and identification
Selection of PCR plates: Used when processing samples in batches. It has wide applicability and can be used in different automation applications.
The edges of the plate holes are coded with numbers and letters for easy marking and identification. There are transparent, colored transparent and white models. Colored and colored transparent models can be used for ordinary PCR. Different colors are more helpful for classifying and managing samples.
It is recommended to use the white model for qPCR experiments. Since qPCR requires real-time quantitative detection of fluorescence signal intensity and more sensitive and accurate fluorescence signal transmission, the white PCR plate can reflect the fluorescence signal to the greatest extent, reduce signal cross-contamination between wells, and optimize the results of real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR.
PCR plates are divided into no-skirt, half-skirt, and full-skirt models. How should you choose?
Skirtless: suitable for most PCR machines or qPCR machines, but not suitable for automated applications. It needs to be used with a plate holder during pipetting.
Half skirt: can be adapted to labels or application barcodes, and automated applications, and has better pipetting stability.
Full skirt: suitable for automated experimental applications, can also be adapted to labels and application barcodes, has good mechanical strength, can be used in PCR machines with protruding modules, and has high stability during pipetting.
