A cell culture dish is a small, shallow transparent culture vessel with a cover, mainly used for microorganism and cell culture in biological experiments. Petri dishes can be divided into plastic and glass types according to their materials. Glass petri dishes are mainly used for the adherent culture of plant materials, microorganisms and animal cells; most plastic ones are made of polyethylene and are suitable for operations such as inoculation, streaking, and bacterial isolation. After the surface has been treated with vacuum plasma (TC), they are mostly used for the adherent culture of animal and plant cells.

surface treatment
Unprocessed/TC processing is optional. The surface modification of TC-treated cell culture dishes is more suitable for the culture of adherent cells; suspended cells grow freely in the culture medium, and the cell culture dishes used do not require TC treatment.
