Selection depends on the Molecular Weight Cut-Off (MWCO) and sample processing volume. As a rule of thumb, choose an MWCO that is no larger than 1/3 of the target protein’s molecular weight. For example, if your target protein is 90 kDa, opt for a 30 kDa MWCO ultrafiltration tube.
